Where did your ancestors immigrate from?

Where did your ancestors immigrate from?

Ancestry and FamilySearch have emigration and immigration records that can help you find your ancestors. Ancestry has various border crossings, citizenship records, naturalization records, passenger lists, passports, stories, and more.  FamilySearch has various arrival manifests, crew lists, naturalization records,  passport applications, passenger lists, Ancestry and FamilySearch are good places to start your search of migration records.

Ancestry has a category called Immigration & Travel and it allows you to narrow your search further to categories such as Passenger lists, Crew lists and and more.  FamilySearch has a collections section.  When you go to the FamilySearch Collection section, click on Migration & Naturalization and you can further narrow your search by Place and/or by Date.
